Pioneering partnership has been shortlisted for a duo of awards in 2025 Water Industry Awards.
iNPIPE PRODUCTS is proud to announce that, in partnership with Avove, we have been shortlisted for both the Water Efficiency Project and Drinking Water Initiative Awards at the 2025 Water Industry Awards — recognising the world-class, innovative approach we are bringing to the water industry.
These nominations reflect our pioneering work in pipeline inspection, cleaning, and maintenance, as well as our strong collaboration with supply chain partners to deliver efficient and resilient services for utility clients.
The Water Industry Awards celebrate excellence across the utilities sector and remain the industry’s premier awards event.
Our entries stood out among strong competition — a testament to the innovative thinking and technical excellence demonstrated by our in-house design and project teams.
Working in partnership with Avove, we designed and manufactured bespoke air-pigs and camera-pigs to inspect, clean, monitor, and maintain water pipelines. This method, which uses air rather than water, incorporates video inspection technology to validate cleanliness and pipeline condition.
This is the first time globally that air-pigging and integrated camera analysis have been used at this scale. Our ground-breaking technology can inspect and clean pipeline sections of up to 6km in length, ensuring the highest standards of water compliance while minimising environmental impact. The project delivers significant reductions in CO₂ emissions, time, cost, excavations, haul roads, and water consumption.

This smart-pigging partnership has already been recognised with several prestigious awards, including the Pipeline Industry Guild’s Large Diameter Pipeline of the Year 2024 and Groundbreaker of the Year at the 2024 Water Industry Awards.
