iNPIPE PRODUCTS™ was approached by a prestigious client in the Far East to supply a 12” high friction pig for and upcoming live shutdown of an offshore pipeline. This live shutdown required precise low-pressure isolation to facilitate the replacement of an emergency shutdown valve.
As part of the scope of supply, iNPIPE PRODUCTS™ was asked to verify the pig’s holding pressure when positioned inside the pipeline. Pig testing was conducted at our state-of-the-art UK facility prior to shipping it for offshore operations.

Testing was carried out at iNPIPE PRODUCTS™ testing facility with the high friction pig requiring to hold 5 bar.G. The hold pressure was achieved successfully and exceeded the defined requirements.
