Scope of Accreditation

The design, manufacture, supply, hire, repair and refurbishment of pipeline pigs, spheres, monitor pig passage indicators, pipe plugs/stoppers, weld testers and customised polyurethane products. The design, supply and repair of pig launching and receiving traps, sphere tees Diverters and associated pipeline fittings.

Overview

The company employs a dedicated Quality Assurance Representative who has responsibility for maintaining the documented quality system and ensuring that all products are manufactured, tested and inspected in accordance with the quality system requirements of ISO 9001 as well as the requirements and specifications of the clients purchase order. The QA representative, as part of his remit, is directly responsible for the inspection department and for all the necessary quality documentation generated, ensuring both its traceability and validity.

Audits

• The company regularly undergoes statutory audits by its external certifying authority National Quality Assurance and client audits on both systems and individual projects
• All audit records are available for inspection and review at any time
• In 2001 InPipe was evaluated for its second triennial audit to BS EN ISO 9001 by National Quality Assurance. The company was able to demonstrate that not only was the existing criteria met to a high standard, but accreditation was extended to cover the hire, repair and refurbishment of products
• The company's Quality Manual is available for inspection if requested
